Panret / Guardian resources: Digital Citizenship

Canada’s Centre for Digital Literacy Media, Media Smarts, has released two great new resources. First, a new self-guided parent workshop, “Raising Digitally Resilient Kids”, outlines how parents and guardians can support children’s well-being and help them balance the risks and benefits of digital media.

Second, a set of four new tip sheets to address kids’ media safety needs at different stages of childhood:

  • Early childhood (birth to 5 years old)
  • Middle Childhood (6-9 years old)
  • Tweens (10-13 years old)
  • Teens

If you have any questions regarding the Media Smarts resources, reach out to your EdTech Consultants Lisa Diner and Stuart Gray.
